Bart Rootliep appointed as CCO of Groendus

On 1 July 2023, Bart Rootliep started as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of sustainable energy company Groendus. Rootliep has extensive experience in a variety of sectors and commercial roles, at both large corporates and smaller companies. With this, he brings valuable expertise to help Groendus achieve their growth objectives.

Joining forces for sustainability

After his career at ING and Rabobank, Rootliep (58) was interim director at Alliance Nutrition Group and consultant at Van Ede & Partners. Moreover he is member of the Greenchoice Supervisory Board since 2020. Because of his start at Groendus, Rootliep is stepping down from his board membership from 1 July. Typical of the way Rootliep fills commercial, strategic and supervisory roles is his people-oriented and connecting approach.
